Profile summary
I joined Hilti back in 1999 as intern on a project to improve global logistics processes. It was an amazing opportunity to deploy my theoretical knowledge in the real world of change management and to reflect about it in my thesis.
After finishing my studies, I started a role as junior project manager in a large-scale program to standardize global processes. This paved the way for my next career step as global process manager for customer complaint handling, with a view to improving customer satisfaction and productivity.
After a lengthy career break, I rejoined Hilti as a controller in global IT, something completely different. Eight months later, I took on the role of leading the department’s HR Process Competence Center, which is responsible for all HR-related processes and IT systems on a global scale.
What stands out at Hilti is our strong customer focus. Right across the world, our people are enthusiastic and committed to doing the best for our customers. I also love the Hilti culture, which is open, diverse and incredibly welcoming. It comes with a world of opportunities, as openness and diversity can mean working all over the business.

I joined Hilti’s global SAP rollout in 2001, keen to leave a legacy on the company’s transformation to SAP. Based on the initial go-live in Austria, I was involved with a couple of other implementations before taking over the SAP competence center for sales and service. Here I implemented fleet management and customer relationship management.
In 2009, I took on the supply chain management and product data management teams and, in 2011, was promoted to head of business applications in charge of Hilti’s business applications globally.
After the re-organization of the structure of our IT organization into business verticals in 2019, I am now responsible for Product IT and together with my colleagues from the business units we introduce new Hilti products, software and services to the markets which includes responsibility for the microservices Hilti Cloud platform and Internet of Things (IoT) applications deployed at Hilti.

Profile summary
I joined Hilti because of the people I met:I was blown away by the warmth and openness that I saw from Hilti team who interviewed me.
I love working with people and technology to solve most important customer needs. It feels good when I get to know our customers and we reach an understanding about how our digital channel can serve them with exceptional experience. I enjoy when I can take that feedback along with product data to create alignment on what my team should build. Working with the team to envision success and deliver impact is most energizing to me.
I like that career developmen is very much driven by the individual. Opportunities are plenty across the globe and right performance and attitude arerecognized and rewarded. There is a huge emphasis on providing team members pursue what they love and enjoy doing.
Hilti is special because of their performance oriented caring culture. It's easier to talk about it than having it deeply engrained in everyday work: for that I believe Hilti is among the best in the world!
